DIY Air Dry Clay Envelope
I wanted to make something small, romantic, and meant to last. So I created a love letter holder inspired by a classic envelope using air-dry clay. With Valentine’s Day approaching, I kept thinking about how love letters used to live out in the open, kept, reread, and treasured.
This piece is designed to hold words you don’t want to forget, whether that’s a love letter, a note to yourself, or something quietly meaningful. In this video, I walk through the process of designing, sculpting, painting, and finishing a ceramic-style envelope holder, focusing on subtle details, soft color mixing, and intentional simplicity.
It’s a calm, aesthetic DIY meant to feel timeless, not seasonal. If you love slow making, romantic DIYs, and thoughtful handmade objects, this one’s for you
